1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PressStream ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PressStream provides a press release distribution platform that allows users to upload, target, and send press releases to Canadian journalists. The Service includes access to a curated journalist database, targeting tools, and delivery tracking.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You may not share your account with others or transfer your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send spam, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harvest, scrape, or extract journalist contact information
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access controls
• Send content that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful

5. Journalist Database

• The journalist database is proprietary to PressStream
• Users may not view, export, or copy journalist email addresses
• Access is limited to targeting filters and recipient counts
• Any attempt to extract contact information will result in immediate termination

6. Payment and Billing

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis
• Word count overage fees are charged at the time of sending
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service
• You grant PressStream a license to distribute your content as directed
• You represent that you have rights to distribute the content you upload

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

PressStream is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Province of Quebec.
