Journalist Stories
DISABLEDEnable journalist-authored stories as a second content type in the newsroom. When enabled:
- Content Type filter appears on Newsroom
- Journalists sidebar shows approved profiles
- Public journalist profile pages become accessible
- Story pages are publicly viewable
- Stories appear in newsroom feed (NOT in syndication endpoints)
Note: Press release flows, syndication endpoints (RSS/JSON), and email distribution remain unchanged. Stories are newsroom-only content.
Journalist Paid Plan
DISABLEDEnable paid journalist subscriptions ($49.99/month). When enabled:
- "For Journalists" plan card appears on Join Media List page
- Journalists can subscribe and access their dashboard
- Stripe billing integration active for journalist accounts
Recommendation: Enable "Journalist Stories" feature first, test the content flow, then enable paid plan when ready for billing.
